Dinghy Racing

At Shustoke Sailing Club we hold competitive racing throughout the year. With Gold, Silver, Bronze and Novice fleets there is something for everyone whatever your level. We welcome boats with a PY between 980 and 1650 inclusive.

We hold pursuit and handicap races on both Saturdays and Sundays, with around 20 boats participating. We have a large and competitive Solo fleet with many of our members successfully competing at open events around the country. We also have good Laser and Phantoms fleets, and a growing Comet fleet.

Through the summer months, May to August, we hold a Thursday evening handicap race. A great way to relax after work!

We also have a club championship with an overall result taken from trophy races through the year.
